Video Of The Day: Batman Vs Deadpool

It’s not likely these two would ever actually be in a fight. Deadpool would win simply because he can’t die and even though Batman can endure almost ANYTHING… he is still in fact human. Another Bat in the Sun film hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. PLEASE NOTE: the winner is based off of fan votes.

BATMAN vs DEADPOOL

The series is produced by Aaron Schoenke, Sean Schoenke and Nikolay Zamkovoy.

The concept of the SPBD web series is to take two super powered legends and make them battle! Every month we will release a new episode, where viewers will be able to vote to determine the winner. The show is hosted by Marisha Ray, with three debaters, Damian Beurer, Andy Liegl and Jennifer Wenger. Together they battle with their sci-fi/fantasy knowledge and comic wit to see who they think the winner will be.

Video Of The Day: Regarding Clark

“I Give a Fuck About Superman.” A brief discussion of Superman, Man Of Steel (there will be spoilers), and what Max Landis (he wrote “Chronicle“) sees as a problem with “superhero movies.” he makes note of the Avengers, Spider-Man and Batman which for all intents and purposes, he’s absolutely right in a way. The first 3 or so minutes I completely agree with, when he gets to the MOS bit, I kinda disagree with. The scene with Zod is the major part in question with this new movie and he talks about that. But I think he misses that as to why Superman deals with Zod the way he does. Max kind of misses why these superhero movies are filled with  such destruction. it adds a level of desperation a reason for the bad guy to be stopped. yes its terrible that it was so 9/11 looking but theres a reason for it that Zod even says. I posted this video just people can see:

  1. What Superman is really,
  2. Another look/opinion of the controversial scene
  3. and even though i agree with the film, i also agree with the video…

But anyway, just watch and enjoy

Video of the Day: Red Son

So its MAN OF STEEL DAY (JUNE 14) and I came across this video. Its one that I’ve always wanted to see. What if the Man of steel had been raised in a communist/socialist culture/economy? who know’s, I might do a review.

In Red Son, Superman’s rocket ship lands on a Ukrainian collective farm rather than in Kansas, an implied reason being a small time difference (a handful of hours) from the original timeline, meaning Earth’s rotation placed Ukraine in the ship’s path instead of Kansas. Instead of fighting for “…truth, justice, and the American Way”, Superman is described in Soviet radio broadcasts “…as the Champion of the common worker who fights a never-ending battle for Stalin, socialism, and the international expansion of the Warsaw Pact.” His “secret identity” (i.e. the name his adoptive parents gave him) is a state secret.

Video Of The Day: Zack On Man Of Steel

Director Zack Snyder talks about the making of Man Of Steel in this unedited interview with Toronto’s City News film critic Mohair Rajhans. Even gives us a brief update on the 300 prequel. No spoilers are given

Video Of The Day: The Daily Show Weighs In on Rob Ford

Haha, get it weighs in. Anyway, this was funny to me right up to the point where they made it seem like a nation wide thing in the second half. I didn’t even know some of these events happen from our dear mayor. Hate him or love him, he does give us something to laugh at either way. I won’t get into politics on here (now) so just enjoy the humour this brings.

Video Of The Day: Batman: Arkham Origins Official Trailer

Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

This video looks amazing. Strongly felt like it had a lot of motion capture and even real actors at times. Can’t wait to play this game.

Video of the Day: Kingdom Come

Kingdom Come is an ambitious low budget short fan film; directed/produced by Andrew List. Our goal was to create a high end extended trailer based off of Alex Ross & Mark Waid’s graphic novel Kingdom Come. We raised money via indiegogo in the earlier stages to cover important costs in creating this huge project into live action. This is designed for entertainment purposes only and to show the potential for not only Kingdom Come but other untapped novel’s under DC Comic’s belt. Last, we highly suggest reading the Kingdom Come graphic novel before viewing!
